Our Story
Poppy's Daycare is owned by Ansu Ferreira, who holds an NQF Level 4 qualification in Early Childhood Development (ECD) and First Aid Level 1. Veronique completed her NQF Level 4 in ECD in 2022. Together with a dedicated, loving support team, we provide a friendly and safe environment, a true home away from home, and intentionally keep classes small so every child is truly known.

We provide a homelike, safe, loving and happy environment to play in, and parents with peace of mind, knowing their little ones are well cared for. We follow a full daily routine and have a few exciting theme outings planned for 2026.

How to Dress & Personal Items
- Dress in comfortable clothes suited to the day's weather, not their best outfits.
- Always pack a set of extra clothes in your child's bag.
- All clothes, bottles and personal items must be clearly marked with your child's name.
- No toys from home, please, we cannot take responsibility for lost items.
Safety & Care
- No child will be released to anyone who has not been specifically authorised by you.
- Minor injuries are cleaned, treated and bandaged on-site by trained staff.
- For serious injuries, you are informed immediately and the child treated right away.
- In extreme emergencies, your child is taken to the nearest doctor or hospital if we cannot reach you.
- First Aid Level 1 trained owner with NQF Level 4 ECD qualification.
